So remember how I told you about my first digital scrapbook page I did a few months back? Well since then, I have been having so much fun working on Selina's album from Africa!! I am going really slow and I keep playing with each page as I learn new things and find new pages and embellishments. I use the Creative Memories Storybook Creator Plus as my program but use pages and embellishments from outside places to decorate my pages.
What is so great about digital scrappin is...
* I don't have to take out all my scrapbook supplies and set them out and clean them up
* It is cheaper than traditional scrapping and there are millions of freebies out there
* I can do it for a few minutes at a time so I can get my "fix" whenever I want
* No scraps!!
* If I get half way through a page and don't like it, I can erase it guilt free
For my birthday and Christmas, I got a little laptop that will be devoted to me and my scrapbooking which will be nice as it will free up space on our desktop for the kids and TR to use. I was starting to really take up a lot of space on our old computer! It will be also nice to have for when I travel back to Africa in the future.
So for my friends out there that digi scrap (do you notice my name for it keeps getting shorter as I write this post?!), I have included a list of some of my favorite stores and sites for free stuff on my sidebar. If you have sites you love too, please let me know!

Those pages are beautiful.... I SOOO wanna play too! Please teach me! I had forgotten how far she has come in such a short time. She is a little fighter!
Those look great! I've never really been into scrapbooking, but doing digital pages sounds like fun. Do you print them off when you're done?
I need to become some sort of scrapper for my kids. I think they will be the only kids without scrapbooks if I don't start. I like the no mess of the digital method and if it is more affordable that is great too! I am curious about the printing as well.
Your pages look great!
OK - so we all want to know what you do with it when you're done? Here I've been spending hours creating photo books on sites like shutterfly and snapfish - and this is WAY cooler.
