Nope, not twins...

My girls- Cater reading a good night story to Selina...

We were at Kman's soccer practice this weekend. Selina and I left to go grab an iced coffee for another mom and me. When we return, a little girl Cater had been playing with follows her up to the van and sees Selina as Cater gets in.

The girl (to Cater looking a little confused): Is that your sister? She has black hair. She does not look like you.

Cater (without missing a beat): That is because we are not twins... She is from another country. It is Africa.

The girl says something as Catey is shutting the door that I don't hear.

Cater (as she opens the van door): Wait! Did you say my sister is a cutie?

The girl: Yes

Cater (with pride): Thank you very much (as she shuts the door again)

I love it when kids can handle things in an icky way or a great way and choose to handle them in the great way. Your older daughter sounds like such a great big sister! What a blessing.

Oh my goodness! Catey is so great-she gave me a good laugh! "We are not twins!" LOL (Nevermind the fact that they are a few years apart!)
