I am getting closer to traveling. We are still waiting for our adoption decree. This paper is needed to complete the process to bring Selina home as. The courts have said she is ours, now they just need to fill out the piece of paper putting it in writing...
I am getting ready so that when the decree comes, I will have as little as possible to do. I am planning now on leaving on May 14 and if we don't get the decree at the beginning of the week, I will just move my plans ahead one week. I have learned that I need to be patient and flexible so I am trying to do just that as things will work according to God's plan, not my plan. If God likes my plan and wants me to go on the 14th, it will happen. If not, I will readjust.
If I was on a treadmill (which reminds me that I really should be on a treadmill)- I am doing a quick walk right now as far as my speed in completing all these projects I need to get done. When I get the call that we have the decree, I will go into a whole new mode and will work at a new speed that would short out the treadmill. Given that I will do that, it is probably best I don't have the decree yet. With the passing of my grandmother this week, I am still trying to get through until her services on Tuesday. I am just easing back into my planning tonight and trying to relax a little and get things around the house back under control given that I have been gone most of the week.
I look forward to getting some good news in the near future so that I will have real travel dates and plans on my new travel blog!! Until then, sit back and enjoy the music- sometimes we need to just take a moment and sing a song! :-)
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! WOW!! We are so thankful to those that are helping us help others in Ghana by giving monetary donations or helping us fill our suitcases...
