The internet is $12 an hour here! Yikes so quick update
I took custody of Selina yesterday after lunch. We had a goodbye party that was nice. Got the kids a juice box and ring pops and fanta and cookies for the staff. Kids loved the ring pops and it was funny to see them try to suck through a straw as it was the first time for many of them. They looked at the juice boxes at first as if they did not know what to do.
Selina left saying "bye bye". We got to the hotel and walked around the pools, had dinner poolside and listened to the man playing the grand piano. She loved it all and was happy all day.
When she went to bed and fell asleep, she started having trouble breathing. Her whole chest was sucking in and her rib cage was moving. She had been congested but this was very concerning. I called my doctor's office who could hear her in the background. They suggested I take her to the emergency room immediately. It was 10:30 pm. Thankfully this hotel is into customer service as their staff drove me, waited for us and took us to the pharmacy. She has an upper respiratory infection or pneumonia. I have five medicines now and while she is okay during the day and has no fever, when you lay her down- OMG. I could not sleep but about 30 minutes last night as it was that concerning. I felt so bad as she was trying to suck in some air. I almost took her back to a different hospital until I decided to just watch her all night and if it got any worse I would have.
She is walking around today and is happy. I got all the meds in her last night- poor girl did not like it at all! I am hopeful that she will sleep better tonight and I can just get her home. Please say a little prayer for her that she sleeps better. I know the congestion had been going on but had not seemed to get worse. I just never slept with her over the past three weeks where she was laying down. I felt so bad for her!
Other than the RTI/pneumonia, she is really happy so far and is looking at every thing as an adventure. We are so blessed..
Thanks for all the congrats from everyone here and on email!!

We've been praying for little Selina Beana, and will continue to do so. Hugs!
$12/hour -- that's worse than the coast! Hope Selina's better and that you're doing well. For the record, I think Friday the 13th will be a very LUCKY day for you now and in the future :)
Lots of love, Molly
I cried when I read that you were coming home with Selina Friday! Sorry haven't written much. Not sure how to respond on the blog! I can't wait to see you both!
Loves,
Mika
I am so sorry to hear she is sick....but atleast you are coming home finally! We can't to all meet her. Every child when they are sick wants their mom no matter how old they are- so atleast Little Sweet Selena has her mom with her to comfort her!!The timing is perfect- TR will get a new baby for fathers day. : ) I think you need to write a book about your adventure- your blogs are so entertaining! Wishing you a happy safe return.....
Aww, poor baby. Here's to a quick recovery to her, and some rest for you!! Can't wait to hear abotu her homecoming!
We will definitely pray for you and Selina. As the medicine kicks in her breathing should get better so hopefully more sleeping will go on. I am so excited you and Selina are coming home. Can't wait to get together after all the settling takes place.
Sending hugs and prayers to you!
Chalene
