First of all, I want to thank those who have left a comment here or an email letting me know you are keeping up with me and praying for us. It means so much to me as I have been here so long that sometimes I do feel a world away.
My paperwork is coming along. Percy has had to take the original of one of the documents I gave them for the I600 because they wanted to see the original. When he got back from doing that, they wanted him to produce another document. He is taking them that document tomorrow. So the good news is that they are obviously looking at my paperwork right now. Hopefully they will not ask for anything else when they get what they are asking for now!
They told me ten working days when I gave them the papers and Wednesday is ten days so the fact that it is being reviewed is good!
Selina and I had an okay day. She clung to me and cried a lot when others would come over or I would put her down. I will see how she is tomorrow. She could have been extra tired or just a little overwhelmed or maybe because she is a toddler and sometimes they just cry!! The good news is that she was crying for me to help her instead of crying for me to go away so it is good that she sees me as someone who can comfort her. It is giving me good practice at seeing what I can do to calm her down. It will come in handy on the plane if I can have a few ideas!! The other passengers will appreciate it!! :-)

The crying sounds like she wants you all to herself and likes all the love this new mom gives her. That is a GOOD thing

I am spending Sat night and Sun with Catey so we may be do pottery and get a pedi ourselves. We'll send pics of our fab nails. It will be a girls "Hanna Montanna" night!!
I just can't get enough of your blogs. It is just unbelievable to read. I was a few days behind so I had some catching up to do..... only this time I came prepared - with a box of kleenex! EVERY time, and often several times, I catch myself crying. Let's see today it was because I can just visualize through your words the bond your forming with her. And another time reading Kman's message to you. AWWW Kyle he is just a sweetie! Your family really will be complete with T.R., your sweet boy, wild woman Katie, and funny Selena ha, ha. Again- you are doing such a great thing....and your family (T.R. and the kids)are just remarkable for standing behind you and being so patient and encouraging! Your an inspiration : ) Keep posting!
Yea Sandy!! That is awesome, congratulations and thank you for letting me know! I knew you could do it! :-)
