Christmas...
A few blogs I read have had this video on them now. It is a good one. This year is a tough year for so many. A few people I know have said that they won't be able to help others this year because it is a tough year for them. I have to say though, if you can still buy presents for friends and family, can't you help others still? I am worried about all the families that are really struggling this year and am hoping that they will all be able to get help.
I can honestly say, my best memory of the last few Christmas' have been when our family was helping another family. We always adopt a family and bring them things right before Christmas. Two years ago, we spent a few hours at the home of our adopt a family as TR and a friend put up a bunk bed that we got for the twin boys that lived there. I brought lunch for everyone and we all ate together in the kitchen and our children played together. We had a wonderful time talking to the family... we didn't speak the same language but with the help of the kids, we were able to get to know each other a little better.
To me, that is what Christmas is all about.
